Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation
The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation provides grants and support to a wide variety of charitable organizations. We are structured to support the most pressing needs in the community today and, as these needs change, so will our funding focus.
How to Apply
The Community Foundation hosts several grant opportunities, an overview of which can be found below.
Community Grants Program
This bi-annual program addresses the most pressing and immediate needs within northern Chautauqua County. This program occurs in two stages, a written Letter of Interest and by invitation a full application.
Letter of Interest (LOI) is due March 1 or September 1

Request Range: previous grants have ranged from $500-$15,000; historically they average $1,500- $3,000
Organizations who have been invited to submit a full application will be notified with instructions on how to access the online application on this website.
Northern Chautauqua Environmental Fund
This annual program promotes local environmental education, particularly as it relates to Lake Erie and its watershed.

Northern Chautauqua County
Eligibility
Nonprofit 501c3 organizations, educational institutions, public agencies. Religious organizations if the project is open to and benefits the community at large and does not proselytize. An organization can receive only one competitive grant per year.
