12-Week Course- Board Leadership, Dynamics, Roles & Responsibilities
NYCON in partnership with Mohawk Valley Community College offers core trainings, balanced with region-specific “fireside chat” sessions facilitated by CLE with community leaders. Curriculum is designed to provide knowledge of the nonprofit model and governance responsibilities associated with board service. 6 module- 2 hour sessions (virtual); $40 per person per session.

Meets regularly, open to the public. The group was formed to help network and advocate for young professionals in the Northern Chautauqua community, promoting awareness of local opportunities and entrepreneurship endeavors. Health Leadership Fellows, Health Foundation for Western & Central New York
An intensive 18-month program including four two-to-three day residential sessions on topics including personal leadership, leading change, communicating as a leader and results-based leadership and collaboration. Additionally, between sessions fellows work together on an inter-organizational project in small teams. Each cohort of fellows is made up of about 40 professionals from health-related and safety net organizations throughout western and central New York

CBO Consortium of Upstate New York, Healthy Community Alliance
Community based organizations (CBO), nonprofit organizations aimed at making desired improvements to a community’s social health, well-being and overall functioning. Formed in 2016 with CBO Planning Grant, NYSDOH, to support CBOs who do not bill Medicaid participating in DSRIP projects and PPS networks; the grant was reissued in 2018. Provides training and assistance to members as they work to address SDOH in their communities.
