In his will Arnold P. Holmberg wrote in regard to the funding of the foundation that he had created that “the purposes for which the money is spent must be religious, charitable or educational”. Further, he expressed his desire to assist those who “have the capacity but not the means to benefit from college”.
Accordingly, the Holmberg Foundation will fund college scholarships and fellowships and support agencies and programs that help economically disadvantaged people prepare for college. In addition, the Foundation will fund other charitable, scientific and religious organizations as appropriate.
