The Community Foundation administers funds that assist charitable activities in specific geographic regions.
Falconer Region Community Fund
- Due: March 1
- Decision: mid-May
- Range: $1,000- $4,000
- Eligibility: 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organizations, municipalities, school district, faith-based organizations located in or serving the Falconer Central School District boundaries (Falconer, Kennedy, Ellington).
John Edward McLaughlin Family Fund (Randolph, NY)
- Due: March 1
- Decision: mid-May
- Range: $1,000- $4,000
- Eligibility: 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organizations, municipalities, school district, faith-based organizations located in or serving Randolph, NY.

Criteria
This grant opportunity is intended to assist with emerging needs or one-time costs that provide a direct and broad benefit to the Falconer Region (Falconer, Kennedy, or Ellington) or Randolph communities.
Eligibility
The following are not eligible for consideration:
- Expenses that have occurred or are scheduled to occur before a funding decision is known (mid-May).
- Expenses for consumable or giveaway items (food, t-shirts, backpacks, promotional items, trophies etc.)
- Sponsorship of one-time events, banquets, dinners, fundraisers, or one-time trips (travel, accommodations, registration fees, etc.).
*The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to decline a grant request that could be viewed as having a specific political, partisan, or religious agenda.
Review
Once you submit your application staff will review it for completeness. They will contact you if there are any questions or if we need additional information.
A committee of community volunteers from the geographic region will review all of the grant applications and then meet as a group to determine funding recommendations. Recommendations are based on the funding available for the year and the criteria listed above. Staff will contact you mid- May with a funding decision.
