This process hosts two cycles per year, intended to support programming, capital, and technology needs.
- Deadline: March 1, September 1
- Anticipated Decision Notification: mid-May, mid-November
- Request Range: up to $20,000
Priority will be given to requests that indicate support from multiple funding sources, demonstrate plans for sustainability, indicate collaborative partnerships, and employ evidence-based approaches with measurable outcomes (where applicable).
Review Process: Applicants will be contacted by Foundation staff to schedule a time present their request to a panel of community volunteers.

The volunteers will consider multiple requests from several applicants at one time. They will make funding recommendations to the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Board of Directors for final approval.
Types of Request: All requests must be charitable in nature as defined by the I.R.S. and contribute directly to the mission of the applicant. Requests can include but are not limited to: ongoing programming, upgrades to technology or systems, and larger capital improvements.
